1. LSU
If the Tigers played the Indy Colts right now, what do you think the spread would be?

The Colts would win by at least 4 touchdowns.

The schemes in the NFL are way to much for a college team to handle.

I don't know if you saw the Saints Colts game this year, but the Colts would beat us worse than that.

It is absolutely dumbfounding that words like this even come out of peoples mouths.

I think the defense would be competitive, but the offense wouldn't score.

The real question is this:
How many turnovers would Honey Badger cause?

I think some of you guys are putting NFL teams on a pedestal. Those guys are good, no doubt, but they aren't going to dominate like the '92 USA Dream Team in basketball.

When you get to really high levels, the talent gap is very shrunken.

The absolute best college team against the absolute worst pro team isn't going to be a huge gap in talent.

The Colts would be a little more talented, and a little more experienced, but not to the astronomical levels some of you guys think.

Think about it... high school seniors go and play in college against people 5 years older than they are and can be competitive... that includes all sports. Then when they are seniors in college, they can go play in the pros and be competitive right out of college.

If that kid right out of high school can compete with other college athletes who are on the brink of going into the NFL, then you KNOW the talent gap is relatively small at that point. The difference is being more fine-tuned, more experienced, and probably bigger and stronger. But those dudes can still compete.

I mean, look at all the guys who have gone right out of high school to the NBA...

They would kill us. On a college team, some of the players might play in the NFL, some may be good enough. On the NFL team, they are all good enough, every player on that NFL team was the few players on the college team... It like saying a High School State Champion Football team could play with LSU, it aint happening..
