He has done well at USM, but didn't Bower really set them up and do just about as good before him?
Plus, Fedora has inexplicable losses at times to the likes of teams like UAB and MArshall.
I'd rather go with a guy who has been on the big stage.
The only answer here is either Smart or Strong. And without hearing an interview, there is no real separation IMO between them.

Strong would be the best - knows SEC landscape, great recruiter, immediately improved Louisville
Smart is an unknown - have Muschamp, Dooley and Fisher done anything to make you think there an upgrade right now
