I say it's probably #2. He's got one of the best jobs in college football, has no interest in the pros, and the school he loves, Michigan, wouldn't hire him. Also, he loves his family and would like to see stability in their teen years.
Why are they mutually exclusive? I believe he loves Michigan more than he loves LSU, but he's never been anything but completely upfront with his love for them and I get it.

I'm a little old for the sandbox, but those WERE the days. I didn't mean to offend you, it just sounded like you had anxiety about being wanted.
