I don't think that would work because you have to be signed in for sigs to show up. and a cache wouldn't be of the webpage as seen by a user who was signed on.

checked cache, doesn't show up.

the link is now dead, for lack of a better term

you're either going to have to track down the person that made it or have a new one constructed
