Every sign at Gameday should have the quote by Saban. May be the best shot of swaying voters.

something like this....."Anyone who doesn't win their conference has no business playing in the national championship game." Saban 2003

Need to prove that he said that before putting it on a sign. I don't remember him saying that and I am no Bama/Saban apologist.

Not only is it completely unlike any public statement Saban's ever made, but even if he were more loose in his statememnts there was never a situation where saying something like that would be relevant.

OU lost to Kansas State on Saturday night. OU/LSU was announced as the matchup the following morning. The only time to say it would've been in post-SECCG interviews, and it was obvious that every single voter was going to have LSU in front of OU at that point anyway.

It's obviously a blatant lie being put out there...I saw it first on Auburn boards...and now it's showing up all over OSU boards and others as well. I say that it's a blatant lie because no one has been able to provide a link, and if there was a link, you know the Saban and Bama detractors would provide it.

And anyone who continues to propetuate it is just as guilty as the person who started it.
