Our RB's don't seem to care about playing time this year...they all seem to be united to support everyone that gets in the game...this whole team is like that. Only position that may have some drama is Lee...but even he seems to be ready to go if needed.

I don't know if we will see this pattern continue, but I like the rotation I saw in the Arkansas game. Hilliard pounds away for two or three quarters then Ware comes in with the same powerful style but a little more wiggle. Holes are bigger after dealing with Hilliard and Ware has more success. When you think about it, it almost isn't fair to the other team to have Ware fresh for the fourth quarter

I agree with the rest of you who said Ware is dinged up. Right now he's not the same back who began the season at #1. Still effective, can still hit someone and drag people for extra yard or two, but not the same. Our backs have the benefit of being type-cast due to depth, so it's hard for me to settle of a depth chart style list of 1-5. Ford has been extremely effective when pair with JJ. Hilliard is definitely coming on strong as our power back, and Ware showed the other night he can still break free for huge gains as well as truck people. Blue is unfair, because he's usually brought in so late that the other teams don't want to be beat on anymore. And I can't tell if Magee was that good or Ole Piss was that bad. Probably a bit of both, it looked like the ghost of Jacob Hester had possessed him, causing him to run rampant over, around and through everything in his path.

But let's give credit where it's due. It's not fair to say how well every damn back on Lsu's team is doing without looking to the real stars, the OLine. They had injury issues earlier in the year, but around the Alabama game, things just started getting better and better. I hate to say it, but didn't T-Bob leave the lineup right around then? Either way, we needed him badly when we had 3 and 4 men down. So here's to those big cats up front, and the FBs, who do the heavy lifting!
