Relevant.

The argument by most against a playoff is that it would make the regular season less. Well if Bama gets a rematch and wins it will make this happen.

Now I am against a rematch not because I am scared of them but because I am in the school that if you don't win your conference then you should not have a shot at the MNC. And putting BAMA in would show that it is truely about MONEY and not getting a true champion. My 2 cents flame away.

Other than LSU, who is better than Bama?

not saying anyone is better but put a conference Champion in and let them have a try. Bama had theirs and lost. Now they are not a conference champion or their division champion.

What exactly would pitting LSU against Okie State prove after we bury them by 4 scores?

Bama and LSU are the two best teams in the country. I can't name any other team that would be competitive in a National Championship Game.

I want LSU to play Bama. If/When LSU wins the NC they will be the most tested team in the BCS Era. The Bama game will be a war for sure, but beat 'em twice and the greatness of this team will resonate for decades.

So if Georgia beats LSU, then who should be in the NC?

Proving that the argument that has been make for the last several years against a playoff of keeping the regular season relevant was not just a cover for keeping the money maching (aka the bowl system intact) until now there is a team that could make more money to put in there that ruins that argument.

That's not LSU's problem if OSU loses to them by 4 td's. LSU had a potential problem in Tuscaloosa and went there and took care of that problem. Suck it Bama, that's the bottom line. They had their chance.

No denying this.
I have never been a big fan of the BCS system but for better or worse it is what we have.
I agree that of the BCS conferences, you should have to win your respective conference to have a chance to play in the "ship". Unfortunately I dont think that is going to happen this year.

I think everyone focus is on the BCSNC, it should be on the SECCG. Talk about throw the BCS for a loop if(disclaimer: I dont think we are going to lose) we lose next week

So...IF the Tigers get upset by UGA, they should not go to the BCSNCG?

It should be Stanford and VaTech if they win their conference titles and LSU loses?

Alabama will get worked if they play in the MNC against us....They will be the easiest team to beat IMO. I don't want them to play in the game because they don't deserve it , and it raises more questions than it answers. Alabama is the LAST school I was to see get a break. frick them

BayouBndt- I agree. I don't want bama in the NCG because I hate the pricks. Not one gump that I've talked to believe they lost as a result of anything that LSU did. I want to laugh at everyone of the fans I know. I don't attempt to debate or argue with them. I say scoreboard. Every excuse is countered with scoreboard

I really hate this argument. As was asked above, what happens is Georgia beats LSU? Then neither Bama or LSU gets into the BCSCG, and we're left watching the winner of OU/OK St play either Georgia, Oregon, or Virginia Tech. Yea, that would solve everything.

I am against Bama getting another shot...mainly because if LSU lost to Bama there would be no chance in hell the voters would give us another shot...but at the same time I think they realize LSU will roll over everyone else so they want a good game

Plus who wants to watch Stanford play VT for the NC, when you have 2 teams that could beat both of them by 30
