The best way to beat a great passing team is to keep them on the sideline with a good running game eating up the clock.

That plays right into what LSU wants to do. Pound the ball. Arkansas will have their moments in the passing game, but won't get enough opportunities to put enough points on the board.

I'm predicting a fairly significant time of possession advantage for LSU which will lead to a double digit victory.

I thought this, but you have to consider the possibility of them moving the ball like West Virginia did. If we play bend-but-not-break on defense, they could throw underneath and use some clock that way.

Chavis will blitz this offense.

A lot.

Wilson will be shell shocked by the second half.

Only reason we played such loose zone defense was because we were up by two touchdowns almost entire game. This is something stat's never show and people who don't watch the game don't understand.

Well three incomplete passes takes like 12 seconds off the clock

I was at the game bro. We were pretty loose the whole game besides a couple of Mathieu blitzes early.

Only other defense that could blitz him properly was..... surprise Alabama. Can't remember the score of that game though..

Yes he will. The 5 backs will be running man zone combos with the lber's blitzing mostly.

If they can't run the ball its going to be tough sledding for Arkie.

I do agree we'll have to send more pressure this game though. If we let Wilson sit back and get their tight ends matched up on our linebacker, or receivers matched up on Loston/Taylor (assuming Reid doesn't play), we could be in a little bit of trouble.

However, I think our ends will be able to get pressure even without the extra guys blitzing. We'll just have to see.

We'll win because we are better physically, athletically and mentally tougher than those asshats.
