We can't let Tyler get in a rhythm.

I hope we blitz like crazy and that the LB's hold their assignments/lanes.

If so, we can cruise this game.

NO!

Why?

Two plays he should be fearful of.

1. Draw play
2. Screen play.

These things are blitz beaters and can go for big plays. Petrino knows he is going up against the best secondary in the game that plays man to man. He also knows that he cant outrun LSU's D. The best thing you can do against a fast aggressive defense is to use it against them. Get them going one way while you sneak out the other way.

Let them flame. The more they flame, the longer they will stay away when LSU lays the smackdown on there A$$ tomorrow.

I think we will pressure Wilson, but will start with the front 4 and see if their OL can handle that before we start a bunch of blitzing, that said I think Brooks and/or TM7 will blitz a few times from the CB/slot side

I think Chief will change up when he sends them. Arkansas, like West Virginia likes to pass a lot on first and second down. I think he tries to sneak them in on each of those downs every once and awhile but not on 3rd down.

There will definitely be some blitzing but will be "pick & choose" and not predictable. I'll be surprised if our defensive front doesn't pressure Wilson pretty well without it and if they do, pressure + coverage = it's over for Arky.

I think we could be aggressive on D or laid back like WVU. Lots of blitzing worked for Bama, but Chief may jus want to limit the big plays and force Wilson to pass 45 times to beat us. We'll generate a couple turnovers if Wilson throws over 30 times.

I hope not. Blitz one guy, maybe two. Keep those DL guys rotating, stuff that sad running game and all will be well.

This, I don't think we resort to a lot of blitzs unless and until Arkansas shows they can move the ball against us straight up.

We will call a play based off what you give us, To think we are gonna set there and run when your set to defend the run or pass when you are set up to defend the pass, is stupid.

It will be a better game than what Oregon and WVU could do to you all.

I hope we only blitz is special circumstances. If we go Gregg Williams style on them, our defense will be lit up on screens and the like.

Need to hit Wilson early, often and low. He has a bum knee.

Agree, Chavis will start out bland. He won't turn up the heat, unless he needs to. We play bend/don't break, until we need to bring the house. Expect alot of 3rd and Chavis early. It seems to work, just looks ugly. I hope it doesn't give the Piggies confidence, and our Offense will limit their possessions.
