Yeah a lot of the thread has the tone of "how dare you judge that burglar! I'm sure you yourself have at least one parking ticket!"

I don't think I've ever met a single person who:

--reported tips
--reported gambling winnings
--gone through the proper hoops to comply with state/federal laws on casual employment
--etc.

I stand by my original claim that this guy is simply willing to take more risk of getting caught than most people, but it's just a matter of degree. EVERYONE is a tax cheat.
