I like seeing the Astros play the Cubs and Cards four times a year. Up until the last 4-5 seasons, the NL Central was almost always wide open until the last few days of the season if you weren't the Reds. The division wasn't ever considered one of the premier divisions in baseball, but it was very competitive within itself.

Now it's a whole new set of teams and games. To boot, the old teams are now in a different league, and we won't even necessarily see them every year anymore (granted, I'm not exactly sure what this "continuous interleague play" involves).

And then, on top of that, it's almost a different game across leagues. You don't get to see pitchers try to hit. You have to carry an extra hitter that's worth a damn (and we're talking about my beloved Astros, who decided to get trade away of most of their youth for inexperience this season). I've always preferred NL baseball.

It's just weird.
This is pretty much my problem with the move, especially the bolded part. I've always disliked the DH rule.
