It wasn't Title IX. Club sport at LSU. Not 100% sure, but the rumor was the players decided they didn't want to practice during the fall. Wanted to watch football and start practicing in January. The coach said that wasn't good enough and when no one showed up for practice the coach shut it down. Hard to figure why they went winless last year.

Title IX really fricked me over. I was headed straight for LSU, as a blue chipper on a full scholly, and then IX reached up and bit me in the arse. Well, maybe not a blue chipper, but at least a partial, but no, IX again! Surely as a grey shirt, or preferred walk on, but noooooo! As a result of Title IX, LSU refused to recognize my athletic abilities. Title IX sucks.
That was sort of tongue in cheek, but, I had a house guest this weekend who attended USC, and was on a supposed NC water polo team. She neither knows how to swim, nor ever stuck her toe in the pool in a fit of polo anger. She claims that she was approached by the AD to be on the roster to fulfill IX req´s.
