can anyone explain why McQueery is still employed? If the Board fired JoePa for what he did or did not do, didn't this guy do the exact same thing? He saw it, reported it to the next in command and did not pursue it any further. I just don't see the difference in what he has done and what Paterno did, yet the press never really mentions anything about this.

McQueary is still employed likely because of the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law. Employer cannot discriminate (discharge, demote, et. cet) against an employee who in good faith reports "wrongdoing". Here the report of sexual abuse would be a violation of state law which would prohibit PSU from firing him for failing to report it to the authorities. McQueary had no statutory duty to report to the police, even if he had a moral obligation. Ironic situation.

Do any of you idiots actually read any of the treads that have been stickied in the past week or just decide to throw your uninformed opinion in? McQueary has known Sandusky and PSU his whole life. He was born in State College and it's obvious he could be one of Sandusky's victims. If he went to the cops, he would have to come out and tell his story if it happened. You think maybe he would do anything to not have that go public?
