What is everyone's opinion on the hit Mathieu put on Kirkpatrik? Yes, Mathieu has a hell of an instinct for coverage, BUT, he seems to be pushing for a suspension from another game for stupidity on his part that hurts the team! I love the way he plays, but stupid mistakes like that just don't seem right...no matter how much we want to beat any team or dislike them, it ain't right. Could have hurt him for nothing....JMO

It was a penalty but not a dirty play. He hit him in the shoulder, not the head.

you and anyone else who thinks he should be suspended need to re watch it. It was not intentional... he got beat and then grabbed the guys shoulder pad to prevent him from making a tackle... it was a holding penalty and rightfully so... if Dre didn't flop like he did trying to draw out the penalty, he probably wouldn't even have hit the ground... its not like TM7 hit the kid helmet to helmet for no reason.. it was a hold and the guy fell hard.. sorry but its football

The looked like he threw a clothesline to the neck area. No way it was not intentional.
