First off. I want to say that jefferson played a pretty good game last night. Nothing against him. I just don't agree in pulling your starting qb after 1 pick when he has had the season he's had. Lee got us to that point throwing 13 td to 1 pick. I just feel like Les abandoned Lee in that situation. I do agree that we should have pulled him after the second! Just feel like Les crushed any kind of confidence Lee had. I don't care who plays qb for us as long as we win! Just didn't think it was fair to Lee

Surely being fair is more important than winning.

I agree with this, would not have happened the other way around. I doubt Lee starts from here on out.

Lets not forget the offense wasn't moving with Lee and Ware. JJ and Ford gave us the better chance to win.

Wasn't fair to the team to leave him in when he obviously didn't give us the best chance to win.

Good God. Lee's not crushed. He had a rough go last night against certainly one of the best defenses in college football ever. Jefferson's legs bailed Lee out the same way Lee's arm bailed out Jefferson so many times before. It was a team effort and JJ's strength with the run/option helped us win.

I guess we should give trophies to the winners and losers like they do in little league soccer.

I like Lee and am a supporter. However, the Alabama defense only weekness was to the outside, JJ gave us the best chance to take advantage of that .Especially in the 2nd half as their LBs tired CLM definately out coached Saban last night. And oh by the way he has beaten Alabama 5 times now. When will he start getting the credit as a x and o coach he deserves!

Lee wasn't playing well. He was playing scared, not even looking at the interceptions. Miles made the right call....we won.

It actually moved until playcalling got stale with Les and company running up the middle every dam rushing play.

I am glad we won the game, and glad JJ was there to help us win, but the offensive playcalling with Lee in there was just horrible. It was horrible when they kept running Ware up the middle with JJ in there too. Just a poorly called game offensively all around.

Are you people crazy? LEE was out of that game once Hightower drilled him..

Yes he has played great this season and put the Tigers on his back but he didn't want any piece of that game last night.

Pulled him after the 2nd. Both were terrible reads.

I agree! Im happy we won! That's all that matters! Just speaking my opinion on how I felt about it. I've never in my life seen a coach pull a starter after one pick. Just not right.

I hate these comments. If this 5th year senior cant get himself back up after a benching then he shouldnt be playing football. He will be fine confidence wise, he will still make mistakes cause he is a limited QB talent wise

You make is sound like the kid gave up...he was ineffective against their talented secondary and JJ's running ability and option got the ball moving. But I am sure Lee wanted back in to redeem himself. But JJ's strength was a better match up

Lee was playing scared. Throwing early so he could turn away from contact. He did get back into the game and the second pick was terrible. 08 terrible. He should have been benched. That said, we still need him the rest of the way out. He earned the starter role and he should start every game the rest of the way.

Anyone that disputes taking LEE out has either never watched a FB game or is a total idiot. We dont have Jefferson or any other QB to fall back on and we lose that game. Hope LEE comes back strong but it was NOT his night.
