November 5th, 1955 - After hitting his head, Doctor Emmett Brown envisions the concept of the Flux Capacitor - the device that makes time travel possible.
November 5th, 2011 - LSU defeats Alabama 9-6 in an epic defensive war in Tuscaloosa, Alabama paving the way to the MNC and prompting Gumps everywhere to wail and knash their teeth in agony. LSU coach Les Miles also forever emerged from the shadow of Nick Saban, once again out-coaching the latter and winning with his own players. In this age of field, it is reported that Miles found special strength by sampling the Bryant-Denny Stadium turf just prior to the overtime period, realizing full and well that the Tigers would emerge victorious. When asked after the game about the likelyhood of a rematch in January, Miles quickly dismissed the notion and responded in a cool, collected fashion, channeling Marie Antoinette: "Let them eat grass."

Did something happen with the flux capacitor to bring Saban to Alabama, or for Miles to beat us twice...........................................................or for Auburn to win a NC, oh my christ!!!!!

The Fifth of November,
'Twas Gunpowder Treason Day,
I let off my gun,
And made'em all run.
And Stole all their Bonfire away.
