If he played in the SEC wouldn't he be surrounded by those amazing athletes you brag about daily? Why couldn't he be as good? Also there are 2 great defenses in the SEC this year, the rest are average. Who else are these great defenses you speak of that would expose him?

I said it was hard to tell how good he really is. He could be a bit oversold. But perhaps, he is even better than people think (which would be hard to do).

Someone sounds booty-hurt.....

I'll go on the record saying Luck is a really good QB that would do well anywhere he plays. I also see nothing wrong with RJF reppin' the SEC.

Move on people......

Don't let facts get in the way of your opinion...

The SEC has 6 defenses (5 in the top 10 nationally) that are better than the best defense Stanford will face all year in conference.

Total Defense Yards per Game:
1 Alabama
3 LSU
6 Georgia
7 South Carolina
10 Florida
23 Vanderbilt
32 Mississippi State
48 Tennessee
64 Arkansas
66 Kentucky
76 Auburn
110 Mississippi

18 Stanford
26 California
27 Utah
44 USC
59 Arizona State
65 Oregon
69 Oregon State
78 Washington State
92 Colorado
101 Washington
106 UCLA
113 Arizona

I certainly don't think Luck's draft stock would fall being in the SEC, but it's absurd to say that his stats wouldn't suffer at least some by playing in the SEC vs the PAC12.
