thankfully you don't make that decision...

the more big games i can go to in Louisiana, the better

here's the thing. in 30 years will a big Tulane game on TV draw crowds to bars outside of Uptown? it doesn't need to be statewide like LSU. the whole metro area will be fine

also Tulane owes it to the state to at least try, as i'm sure the Dome would rather have Big 12 opposition come in over anyone in CUSA.

if Tulane didn't try, the Dome might kick them out

also there are some who think a new stadium at Tulane is a plot by LSU fans to keep them small-time forever

Ok you do the math. UTEP brought 100 fans. Texas 30,000, OKL 25-30,000, OKIE ST. 20-25,000. I'm probably being conservative with those figures.
As Tuberville said, It's a great fan destination.
They would bring a larger portion of their fan base to New Orleans over any other current destination. LSU is #1 and the rest of the SEC isn't even competitive. I'm not worried...
