That's just silly. I was pulling for Michigan State over Wisconsin, Texas Tech over Oklahoma, etc. I think most viewers usually have a favorite in any particular game.

most pull for underdogs...no real underdog here. i think most football are just expecting a war and will be

I will tell you why people will pick LSU; TWO REASONS

LINK

People outside of Gumpville are sick of seeing Bama being the identity of college football.

LSU is more fun to watch! (Honey Badger, CLM, our D, off the field drama, ect)

I really feel that most people outside the SEC will choose Bama simply bc they are a more historically known program. I feel that the majority of the reasons you mentioned are more localized to the SEC.
Honestly, if you have focus on Alabama being a "dirty" program then you are fooling yourself. What do you think the public perception is of LSU right now? 6 suspensions served to date AND the team went on probation? Take off the purple and gold glasses friend.

Some will pull for Alabama beacuse they are tired of hearing how suspended players and players failing drug test are representing LSU. I work with people from other states and most agree that LSU has some of the most rude fans in the country. They say that LSU doesn't care about tradition, they just want to win football games at any cost. I tell them that a few rude arse***** don't represent. But they just don't like LSU. Oh well!! But then again, why should we care about what other people think of us. GO TIGERS!!

I agree that Les is a more likeable coach. Last year he was a better coach in this game. This year its anyones call. The most anticipated game in my thirty years of watching Alabama football outside of the 4 national championship games we have participated in in my lifetime. This has that same kindof feel. The Talent is so simular that it will come down to which coach has his team the most prepared and fired up. Then the chess match on the field will win it for one team in the forth quarter. Last year it was the unbealiveable fourth down call by Les. What will happen this year? Cant wait to see. Hope the refs stay out of it. This is too big to be decided by a phantom holding call or a missed interception call.
