I was reading on ESPN how TCU was contacted by the SEC but wanted to join the Big12 instead. I personally love what Missouri does for Arkansas and Arkansas only. It puts 7 SEC Campuses within 350 miles of Little Rock. We have a better football program than Missouri and much closer to the Texas Talent. Fayetteville much closer to the Middle of the SEC west instead of the former most western team.
Now, with all of that said, which helps Arkansas, I think it's a look warm feel for the entire SEC. The Big12 looks to be adding TCU (done), BYU, West Virginia and possibly Lousiville. Honestly, that is a solid pick up and keeps the majority of kids growing up Big12 fans than SEC fans.
Having TAMU in the SEC helps the western teams recruit the SEC but it won't be such a large impact as previous thought because another brand Texas team got a Big12 invite.
It seems like outside of TAMU we've been having trouble with the 14th team.
West Virginia seems to be the bullseye for the Big12 if Missouri leaves.

Arkansas is a large winner with the TAMU and Missouri additions of the SEC. The SEC itself is a win but not a homerun in my opinion. On thing is almost certain now.... We won't be expanding to 16 teams because no one will be left to take.

Mizzou being 'chosen' is all about $$$$$$$. It's potential TV sets and neither TCU or WVU add much. I agree WVU is better in almost all regards but this isn't about that. I still have serious doubts about TCU even being considered by the SEC. It's possible I guess but if TCU really wanted better things for their program, being Bevo's bitch isn't the way to go.
