1. The ACC now has a $20 million exit fee.
originally they wanted a $40 million fee but 3 schools refused - fsu, maryland, and someone else

2. The ACC is as stable as the SEC.

the southern football schools are upset the acc has turned into a yankee basketball confernce.

3. The ACC per team revenue is within shouting distance of the per team share in the SEC.

just wait until the sec renegotiates its contract with the addition of a&m and whoever.

Florida and S. Carolina don't want Florida State and Clemson in their back yard.

true but when your options for #16 are fsu or wvu, it's an obvious choice.

You might be right; but didn't the ACC just add a few teams to their geographical footprint?
Do you think they're not going to pass the plate for more money?

My guess is they'll be right their with their hands out for bigger bucks just like the SEC.

Duke and UNC are the anchors of the ACC and always have been. Basketball...sure. Yankee...well Duke is when it comes to it's student body, but it's still located in NC and has always been a basketball school so it's not like anything has changed in that regard.
