Didn't say the truck looked crappy I just do not think they are as built tough as they use to be. The quality is just not there to last for what a 2500 is suppose to do. Now if you do not do anything with it except drive it back and forth to work then it might last you forever.

PowerWagon laughs at this statement.

The redesigned models have only been out since '09 or '10. Initial quality reports have been excellent on the Ram trucks...long term is somewhat yet to be seen, but with a Cummins under the hood it's safe to assume it'll be just fine.

Jordan is the biggest dodge fanboy on the site. Mention dodge trucks and there he is. I agree, good engine in a shitty truck.

Fwiw, i drive a gmc duramax.

Never been a Dodge fan and I've always heard that (from Ford guys mostly) and it's bogus. I tow a 13000lb 5th wheel around 20 times a year and suprisingly the truck hasn't fell apart yet! That also goes for many of the other guys with Dodge trucks I know. Some have well over 300k miles.

I know this too... towing long steep grades, the Cummins will eat that Powerstroke alive.
