From a purely self-interested standpoint, I am psyched with this move. I will see more SEC football here in St. Louis and will get the pleasure of watching Mizzou get whipped on a regular basis. Nevertheless, I don't think it is the best move for the conference. Mizzou is a pretty weak program.

I think Mizzou is a perfect addition along the lines of an Arkansas or South Carolina.... a team that can be decent but that will never be an elite program. The SEC has enough elite programs, we don't need an OU/Texas/FloridaSt/etc.
I think it's a perfect addition if you're a fan of one of the Big6.
And considering TexA&M/Mizzou is going to boost each school's paycheck from $18ish to $25-30 million, I think everyone benefits.
