I played a little this morning before work. I got to the part where you enter the courtroom (save point). The controls were a little sluggish on the countering at times (either that or I was button-mashing too much and the mashes are stored in a queue) but other than that it was massively impressive. I wish I had had time to zipline around the city first.

def not sluggish if you mash it two many times or punch to many times and then try and counter you'll get hit. You should time your next attack right after your first, as shown when you upgrade to the "critical hit" It's all about chaining together moves not just beating people down. Once I slowed down I was able to pull of a 37 hit combo.
