was JL disrepected by not allowing to start the 2nd half?

JL was 8/12 2td's, should've been 3TD passes in the 1st half.
JL, starting QB and Captain for the #1 team and at the time 6-0, but gets to watch from the sidelines at the start of the 2nd half.. Then when LSU got desperate and figure JJ wasnt going to convert a 3rd and 5 passing, JL gets to come back in.
There has been mentioning about JJ being upset and vulgar on the sidelines when things didnt go his way. Any truth in that?

I do find it telling that JL is brought in for JJ in OBVIOUS passing situations.
On TV, JJ appeared to have a pouty face when the cameras zeroed in on him.
I have no idea if he is making waves, though. If he is, the solution is to bench his arse for good, not pull the starter to appease a whiny crybaby. That goes for any team, not just LSU and JJ.

LSU fans need to stop worrying about who is gonna have hurt feelings (Lee or Jefferson) and need to support both to play. I thought Jefferson was used perfectly against Tennessee.
At this point, I care more about LSU winning the title than winning an ethical debate over who should be playing as qb, which is pointless to do because what you saw Sat is what you're going to see the rest of the season.

Do you want someone to agree with you, be a rumormonger and start some unsubstantiated crap?
Since this is the rant, chances are, all the rest will happen -
someone will agree with you
castigate JJ
defend JJ
crap on Lee
Talk about TM7
blame it on Les.

Yes, JL was dissed - no other way to look at it.
JJ should also think about handing off now and then, instead of keeping it every time...

I think its you that is making waves and crying. Leave it alone and let Les and the coaches coach the team.

Les had a BS explanation when asked about it. Said it was because we were starting at our 1, only thing is, that was our second possession. I also noticed during the press conference he got very, very testy when asked about it. He apparently also didn't tell JL until he was warming up, I'm guessing, thinking he was getting ready to take the field. I keep having the nagging feeling that Les is trying to bend JL over again, no matter how well he's playing. I get this feeling because we have seen that movie before (see, 2009 and 2010). I heard two different talking heads during the NFL games yesterday say that you don't bench your QB, even if he is having a terrible game, and went on to list the reasons. So, benching one that is performing at a high level, doesn't make much sense to me.
The story Les wove about using JJ to get us out from the 1 makes a lot of sense, but in that scenario, wouldn't you put your starter back in as soon as we hit the 20 or so? Yeah, 99 yard drive, blah, blah, blah-I said several times, if you want to pound an inferior opponent by run run run, then put a better runner back there. I would bet that a backfield combination of Ware and Ford could have done the same thing on that drive, especially if you are going to ask JL to trot out there on third and long and sustain the drive anyway.
If the justification is to make sure you have your second QB game ready, then you bring in your second QB when every other team does. At the end of the game when it's in hand. You hear former QB's in the booth talking about getting in a rhythm, and jerking our QB's in and out in the middle of a series would seem to fly in the face of that. So far, it's working, and LM generally does the opposite of what the rest of the experts say with great success, so there you go.
I would still love to see Ware or Shepard, or even Magee run the option with all the backs we have and their HS experience with running it. I think that would be something to give the other DC's to prepare for, not putting in a backup QB that is going to run the ball >90% of the time. And it is clear, he is NOT going to share when he has the option to carry it himself. Rewatching just the highlights on Jordy's show last night, there were several other plays besides on the TD where he gained positive yardage, but a pitch would have gotten a LOT more.

Also, LSU runs 68% of the time..
So why do people care so much about ware and ford pass blocking?
How is pass blocking that big of a concern especially for ford when LSU runs 68% of the time?
You'd think they'd just not put ford in on the pass plays

The only thing y'all should worry about is putting points on the board......I can careless who is in as long as we win!!!!!!!! Both players will be gone at the end of the season anyway let em play and let's win.....

I see both sides of this thing.. while I am not a fan of JJ, I see where having his skill set makes a difference. Playing both qb's puts more pressure on the def. A def. has to prepare for two totally different Off. One, a more pro style O, running and pounding with a effcient passing game... The other is with JJ in, more of a running qb and a small threat of pass.... That being said, I am a JL fan all the way.... I believe he is the better player at qb and a better leader for the team. I do believe also, that in the end this using JJ will bite us in the arse, probaly from a team morale aspect more than a on the field mistakes.... I hope not, I hope CLM can keep a handle on the whole situation.. But if I was JL, I would be having the red arse after this excerise a few times....
