We currently use directv dish for tailgating, but we cannot get the local channels in Baton Rouge. Therefore we get screwed for CBS games. Can someone please explain to me how slingbox works or what other options do we have for watching the CBS games? thanks.

I'm pretty sure all CBS games are streamed on their website. One option would to stream the game from a laptop to your tv with an hdmi cable. If you are tailgating on campus you should be able to get access to LSU wireless.

We have DirecTV but we use an HD antenae for the CBS games. We also end up being about 3 seconds ahead of the tailgate behind us. We were cheering for the Reuben Randle touchdown before they saw the ball thrown.

I am sure a digital converter and some rabbit ears would do fine.

We had the same exact problem at our tailgate, and our dish originated from Denham springs. It left about 10 people at our tailgate scrambling for a place to watch. This is after my brother spent 3 hours on the phone with DTV trying to figure out the problem.
If we don't find a solution by the Auburn game I'm pretty sure my brother is gonna tell DTV to shove their dish up their arse.
