When it comes to conference expansion, Clay Travis is the man. ESPN and SI have been consistently wrong at just about every turn.

Well, if you think Slive and his brethren are going to continue to watch 11-1/10-2 conference members sit home, while 8-4 unranked Big East teams get slaughtered in BCS bowls, you are wrong. Something will change.

Clay Travis is the man

Travis might be "the Man" but his argument concerning why the Big East keeps the AQB has major flaws.

No matter what ESPN's participation was in the ACC's "Rape and Pillage, Part II" of Big East, I seriously doubt that has any affect on the renewal of the BCS contract in 2013. If that's what the Big East is hanging their hat on, they're in deep trouble.

If there's a potential cause of action ripe for litigation, that would be the other conferences out there which don't have AQBs. Let the Big East become CUSA II and keep the AQB and watch the shite hit the fan.
