I got into a heated arguement yesterday with a guy who was claiming Miles was stupid. ( you know the usual ) I am convinced he does this to keep the attention, spotlight, and attention off his players as much as possible. It keeps the pressure off and keeps the players loose. If you watch Miles on a regular basis their are rare times when you can tell he speaks from the heart. Like when he defended Jefferson last week and the press confrence after he turned down michigan for the second time. Both times he spoke normal, with passion and without any Milesisms. Most of the world thought he was a idiot ( me included for awhile ) for along time, but I think college football is catching on.

Listen to miles on his radio show. If you ask him a pointed question about football he speaks MILESISH. if he gets a non football question he is just a normal guy answering. I think MILESISH can be interpreted into just plain coach speak if you listen to it enough. I think he does it to play with the media when they ask question he doesn't want to answer directly. I also think he enjoys making the media and world outside of. LSU think he is stupid. When other teams don't take him seriously it's a huge advantage to LSU.
