this thread again huh? The answer will, and always, be.. Just say no to falcon love. Take care of our own. Beat the Falcons when we get to them.

And If we have to go to Green Bay to make it to the Superbowl then so be it. I hope it's snowing and -20 degrees.. we have a better running game.

I don't see where I need to pull for either one of them. Let the chips fall where they may and may the best team win in the end.

I'd pull for the falcons before pulling for obama.

That's absurd.

IF, by some grace of God, the Falcons pulled this off at home you could rev up a team that on paper is better than the piss poor showings they've had.

I'd actually argue that on paper they were worse than 13-3...much worse. They just didn't make any mistakes last year. I think they're evening out a bit.

You never pull for a division opponent this early in the season. In order for HFA to be a factor, you first have to win the division. The easiest path to that is for your divisional opponents to lose as many games as possible.

Thus, you don't pull for the Falcons this week, and your post was neither clever nor edgy.

This is where the thread ended for me.

well said Soph!

No chance. Maybe if it was week 16-17 and the playoffs or seeding were on the line. In October? Fugidaboudit.

I will be. The only reason I wouldn't pull for the Dirty Birds is if I was worried about beating them, which I'm not. The only division game I'm slightly worried about is a slip up to Carolina for some reason.

You realize that we can sweep them and still lose the division, right?

Never!!!! Wouldn't be surprised if Chicago beats.Green Bay once just because its a rivalry game. So no we should pull for Green Bay and the season is early, those 400yd. Passing games will go down once the temperature drops.

You want your division to tank as badly as possible, win all of your divisional games, and then you want them to lose to at least one of their division rivals (preferably someone you've already beaten, like Shitcago).

I'll be cheering for GB. I just want those frickers to lose. Atlanta is not a threat this year IMO. TB is better.

If the Falcons win they are 3-2
Bucs are currently 3-1

And your rooting for a division foe to win? Did we already lock up the division?

First priority is to win the division. I will be rooting for the Falcons to lose.
