Im a recent transplant from Louisiana to Dallas. This apartment life is killing me, I was wanting to know if anyone knew of any gun clubs or archery ranges I can get out too?
Ive googled several, just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them around here?

I've got family there and I have been to one range up there that was really nice and wasn't too expensive. I will try to find the name for you.

You have to tell me where you are at in dallas.
DFW gun range is an indoor range that offers indoor ranges. Bass pro shop over in grapevine has an indoor range. There are additional ones in garland and plano as well.
There is a dallas gun club located I believe in Lewisville, which is quite expensive to join and maintain membership.
There is also the dallas pistol club I believe in carrolton or coppell. You can only shoot handguns or 22 rifles. Membership is limited and once someone gets it they tend to maintain it.
There is like a two year waiting period for this one. But this one is pretty inexpensive and a good one IMHO.
There are other ranges in and around dallas. I think there is another on on luna road in carrolton. There is one in Royce city on the other side of rockwall.
I really need to have a better idea to help you. But heck yes, this is texas. There are tons of places to shoot.

I thought that elm fork one was in carrolton. My bad. Saw the address is in dallas.
It really depends where in the city you live. It also depends how often you are going to be shooting. Some offer yearly memberships where you don't need to pay after you pay your yearly fee.
DFW gun range for instance is a bit over 300 a year for unlimited free use of the ranges. Also they will do a number of free ffls for you a year if you are buying over the internet.
