There were a few very polite Duck fans.

They knew they were in for it. After all, they were #3 but LSU was #4 and neither side had played a down with their new starters and freshmen.

I dont think anyone is really worried about WV. Sorry guy.

I know the spread is only 5.5. I guess that means that in Vegas, there are still guys from WV willing to bet on the game.

If you look at the Tiger rant "prediction" thread, many LSU fans think LSU will DOUBLE the score that WV makes.
35-17 is pretty common as the guess.
Less than 15% think it will be a tight game at the end.

LSU's defense is fabulous and DEEP. That will minimize what WV can do. The only weakness in the LSU defense is the LB crew which includes a guy I would rather not have on the squad, but that's just me, I guess. He blew coverage on two TDs in the Ark game taking bad routes to the ball. Now he is a LB.
He jumped offsides and gave MSU their 2nd field goal, keeping a drive alive. The other field goal was scored after a 2nd string safety launched himself in an unsportsmanlike attempt to decapitate the WR, who was short of the line needed for a first down. Thus, both MSU scores were ONLY due to penalties.

Do not count on scoring at all. That way, if you do, even if its already LSU 21 when WV puts up a field goal at the end of the first half, you can feel real good about scoring at all on the mighty LSU defense. 17 of the two deep on defense have at least one tackle for a loss, so far. There are several DBs who will play in the NFL if they keep their health. Several. Enjoy trying to complete passes with them all over your WRs.

Peace. Out. O
