re: Bama fans, which game means more -- UT or AU?

Quite frankly, the Tennessee game means more to me. If Alabama and Auburn didn't play each other, the rivalry would still be very much there. There would still be year-round talk about who's better yada yada yad and how Auburn fans screw goats and how Alabama fans screw their cousins yada yada yada. To me, the Tennessee-Alabama game is everything the SEC stands for. Personally, it is one I would be devastated to see go. Sure it would be absolutely huge when we played every few years, but that rivalry wouldn't survive in the same light. The Alabama-Auburn rivalry isn't going anywhere, the club water polo games would still be a blood feud.
