It prompted this statement from SEC spokesman Charles Bloom: “The Southeastern Conference has not agreed, formally or informally, to accept any institution other than Texas A&M and there have not been conference discussions regarding changes in divisional alignments.”

That about wraps it up because God knows no one would ever lie about any of this stuff.

Of course they'll say that since Baylor is threatening lawsuit. I'm sure KU will be next. I posted about 2 wks ago that KU,KSU, Iowa State also mentioned how they're not waiving rights to sue any school leaving. SEC don't want to seem like they're raiding conferences.

That really doesn't say much except nothing has been settled as far as accepting another school or realigning divisions.

Is there something in a Big East contract to where teams can't sue?? Funny how 4 Big 12 teams won't waive rights.

Well, won't waive right after having already waived rights.

Big East sued the first time when VT, BC, and Miami jumped to the ACC.. I'm not sure what the result was
I haven't heard any rumblings about a lawsuit this time.

Auburn isn't moving to the East, IMO.
If it is Missouri, they're going to put them in the East.
