but you have nothing but conjecture

this

where would they move? only the SEC is an option Slive has said all expansion increases the SEC footprint... how does FSU do that? UF will clearly protest FSU's move to the sec 20m buyout to leave ACC ACC expanding to 16 FSU is a giant in the SEC and would be just another good team in the SEC. this would drop their bowl revenue

seems to have a bit of credence behind it other than
"well the are holding a meeting, they must be thinking of leaving"

Does not make "zero chance" of leaving as you pompously claimed. In fact it involves a LOT more assumptions such as UF changing their position on FSU since the last expansion. Admit it you know that in the back of your mind there is a chance that FSU is discussing leaving for the SEC. Why hasnt Duke and UNC announced that they called their boards to a meeting. How about Miami? In your scenario the only school that has announced a board meeting that wasnt thinking about leaving their conference is FSU. OU A&M UT etc all announced one of these meetings and the result was they were looking for a new conference

You're making a lot of assumptions there.

Link me where UF has said they'll block FSU. There's many arguments to be made that UF should welcome FSU. (Easier OOC schedule, FSU already recruits well)

How do you know what Slive considers "increasing the SEC footprint"? He may be simply talking about TV viewers. UF doesn't have 100% of FL. FSU has a very big following not only in FLA, but also Nationally. Until you show me actual evidence that FSU doesn't increase the SECs TV footprint in FLA or Nationally or that Slive says they won't, then that's just another assumption you're making.

Why does a 20$ million buyout kill it? TAMU's was supposed to be 30 and has been negotiated down to around 12-15$. So $5 million dollars is a deal breaker? FSU has a very wealthy and powerful booster network. If the boosters want to move to the SEC, they'll do it.

Again I'm not saying that they're going to move to the SEC. Only that it's not impossible. I don't have access to the information that these Boards have, and neither do you. They may think that moving to the SEC will increase their revenue even with a possible drop in bowl revenue, simply by having a high viewership throughout the season, and increased stadium ticket sells/concessions, etc. This is possible since the OU game last night as their first sell out in 2 years.
