You should root for schools that you'd enjoy visiting.. I'd go with USF

Tampa Bay would be a fun town to visit for road games, especially if the game is in September.

Good young program with one of the bright young HCs in CFB, but I think UF would draw a line in the sand to block additional FL schools.

Are you from the Baton Rouge area? What's your take on Tampa Bay, compared to Louisiana? Which part of TB are you in? Seemed cool, but I've just passed through.

USF doesn't even play in their own stadium. They play in Raymond-James and lease from the Bucs, so I highly doubt they'd even be considered for SEC expansion.

I like the OP's thinking. I made one road trip to Miami when I was a GT student and we went to South Beach the night before the game. 
I can see some people disliking the city of Tampa, but you could hit any of a dozen beaches on the trip. How many campuses offer that?

It's a fresh angle. And who knows? USF, while not an ideal choice for a 14th, 15th, or 16th addition, would certainly not be the worst choice possible.
With SEC tv money, that place would explode onto the national scene. Which is why I think UF does everything to block it.
