Im 20 yrs old and looking to start gaining knowledge in investing so that when I do start to invest some money in a year or so, I go into it prepared. Does anybody have any good books that they know about or have read that they can recommend?

Been on that for a couple of hours now. Looking more for a book i can sit down and read. Thank you for the suggestion though.

"Intelligent Investor" is rather dated. I'd go with Bogle's books instead.

One big problem with the older books such as "Intelligent Investor" is that, while good, they were written in a world when most people had to invest in individual company stocks, US stocks in particular. Mutual funds were uncommon (and expensive), and index funds simply didn't exist.

Today there are many more options.
