Pretty much exactly what I have been saying, and Roaad has been disagreeing with. I do think if Mett comes in and lights it up, he needs to start even if Lee is adequate though.

I don't think you start Mett unless Lee is playing inadequately and/or has lost the team's support. His experience will come in handy, even if he can't offer us the things that Mett can in some instances.

May not be my way of handling it, but if Les wasn't willing to bench JJ last season, he won't bench Lee just for being outplayed in a portion of a game.

Jarrett was really sharp tonight. If they get something near this from him all year he will do enough to win every game imo.

Mett looked really fundamentally sound and had a good arm but if he's not comfortable with the whole playbook there's no way he should start. It's good to get him reps though.

Mett won a juco national Championship last year while Lee was getting 2 or 3 series a game last year. I know there is a big jump, but I really don't think it would be throwing him in the fire so to speak. I'm just saying if he outplays Lee, then let Mett play more and more as time goes and game plan accordingly.
