That's my interpretation of what's going on too. It's funny to me that Texas stirred up all of this shite and now have to lie down in it. They really look bad (if you take the orange glasses off), not that those arrogant fricks care either way.

It was just last Friday when there was no problem from Baylor or any other Bevo Nine school over the Aggies leaving. In fact, those schools told us the Bevo boys would soldier on, better than ever, without the dirty Aggies. What changed all of a sudden? Easy answer. The University of Oklahoma finally spoke up, that's what changed.
Exactly. Baylor will have a very hard time proving damages caused by the SEC when they raised no issue to aTm leaving at first but now want to sue the SEC after another school want to go to the Pac 12. If they need to sue anyone it is the Pac 12. Baylor's own inaction basically proves that aTm to the SEC on its own would not cause any damage to them. OU to the Pac 12 is what will cause the collapse, not aTm to the SEC.

Couple of thoughts after reading this and I haven't read through the thread itself so forgive me if I'm repeating some of what's already been typed here.
Texas is typical of Texans. Always bragging and nobody really takes them seriously in the end. They are the bully telling every other conference member since the inception of the Big12 that they are the end all, be all in the conference and that the others are nothing without them despite having been the 3rd best program in the conference behind Nebraska and Oklahoma. They got unequal revenue sharing with that argument. I guess they truly believe that the people within Texas are all that matters as yes, Texas has twenty something million people, but the rest of the country has about 280 million people who couldn't give a rat's patoot about Texas. I think the bullied just finally had enough and realized there's so much life after Texas. See Nebraska!
Aggies will be Aggies! I have no sympathy for Aggies in all of this. If you're equal to Texas as you claim over and over and over again ad nauseum, why in the heck did you ever take less money in the first place? I think the real issue with A&M is that you're a strange breed of people and I don't mean strange in a good way. You are to college football as the fundamentalist mormons are to religion. There is little to admire about a university whose population has created an entire genre of joke telling. By taking your ball and running, you breed contempt from college football fans, not respect.
As an SEC fan, the SEC needs no other schools to continue to be the best conference in college football. Say you added Texas and Oklahoma to the Pac-12. This makeup would still have only 3 BCS titles (2 if you don't count the one vacated by USC) as compared to the 7 of the SEC. Texas A&M brings nothing to this conference in terms of winning football championships and who really cares that much about the other sports to be honest. This move was made for football reasons and nothing else. The addition is not needed. True college fans could care less about TV households. Although A&M is good this year and was last year, those seasons are the exception rather than the rule. You have one conference championship in 15 seasons. Their addition to the SEC adds nothing to the prestige of the conference.
Baylor does stand to be a big loser in conference realignment and may look foolish in all of this but if it helps to keep our conference at its current membership, go ahead and sue!!
