The better question would of been, do you ever have conflicting interest when LSU plays the school you attend.

Absolutely not. I attended both Tulane and ULL, and you'll be hard-pressed to find two schools that have such a vitriolic hate for LSU. Tulane gave me a free ride at 18 years old for my first degree and ULL was the best value I could get at 21 for my second degree. Bleeding purple and gold, though, was from birth.

I rarely went to either of those schools' home games because that would mean not being able to watch or listen to the LSU game. It's fun when LSU plays either ULL or Tulane, though, because I have never had any problem rooting against the schools I attended and tigerbaiting the people that I went to school with.

I almost feel bad when Tulane comes to town, though, because my Tulane buddy usually gets Stadium Club tickets and lets me go even though I constantly make fun of his cute green shirt.

Almost.

I attended Southern University and I rather not support them b/c quite frankly they suck and I get tired of them playing for the mythical "Black College Football Championship."

I really think I chose the wrong school b/c my heart has always been with LSU. I just ran behind my friends b/c they went to SU and they couldn't get into LSU due to their ACT sores. And what's crazy is that all of them ended up getting kicked out the university over bad grades. I think that decision hurt me b/c it pigeoned-holed me into not having a diverse set of friends.

The only white friends I have are the virtual ones here on TD.com

If I could go back, I would go to LSU in a heart beat.

I would never send my kids to a HBCU.
