yeah..stolen from texags, but a good read.

stupid conference

quote:

The bigger question, I suppose, is how Baylor didn’t see this coming. How shortsighted and pathetic are the leaders in the Big 12? What an embarrassing year. Going back to 2010, the league just let Colorado and Nebraska walk (Pac 12, Big Ten, respectively). Then Texas A&M passed on a rumored SEC invite. Then the entire league let Texas hop in bed with ESPN to form its own network. Only now is everyone panicking, but of course it is too late

It is a screwy mess, no one is arguing that....but I think anyone who is honest will admit that ti is funny that Baylor is calling the shots and intimidating Slive and the SEC.

In a million years, did you ever think Slive and the SEC would ever want a waiver before making an offer to a new member? Slive is practically begging Baylor for approval.

I love some of the responses to the article. TexansFan says, "I dont think texas gives a rats arse. They could go independent or to the pac 16. They dont need A&M as much as A&M needs them".

So this genius sees A&M as being dependent on UT, even though they are trying to join a conference that Texas won't join. How long before TexansFan joins the Rant?
