A buddy's dog got hit by a gator from the launch last year... you have to know your area. We have a ton of them
I won't make the opener due to kid stuff and JOURNEY
but have hunted my dog during teal season.
If you are in a small pond and are very aware, you will be ok. Also, you must have a good dog. Generally, the gators will make a move to the duck and you will see it happen.
