The knock on LSU from the media and talking heads has been a weak offense. With an offense to go with the defense, we could probably be #1 right now. (not that it matters so early)

I know its only Northwestern State but were talking about a team with an offense that managed just 32 points and 282 yards against McNeese State a year ago as well as 251 yards with just 95 passing against ULM. We all are aware that Les doesn't like to run up the score, but should he turn it loose this weekend and prove to the media and the coaches (polls) that LSU can be a complete team that doesn't just win everygame on defense alone?

the media should make note that we have a weak passing offense.

yea they've focused more on passing than O in general, most have said the running game was strong

Probably not gonna get a statement game, I see no way LM blows out Bradley

38-3 something along those lines

He doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. As long as LSU keeps winning, it will take care of itself. Voters won't keep an undefeated SEC Champion LSU at #3 because "the offense is weak"

I do agree with the statement but I do believe Les needs to develop the "Spurrier Syndrome" by running up the score against opponents to prevent situations like the UNC game last year. You can still make statements and punish opponents with class. But seriously making statements in games goes hand in hand with our intense fans.
