I like Jarrett Lee and think he's a much more naturally gifted passer than some other QB's we've had. He can be very accurate at times, but he can also be off wildly on some throws.

No one wants to say it, but the reason he throws off his back foot most of the time is because he fears the rush. Simple as that. I played QB in high school and college, and it's easy to spot. He's certainly been told and coached not to do it, but it's something he just hasn't been able to break. There are times he'll step into a throw and he looks all-world. But many times he feels the rush when it isn't there. If you'll watch the game again, you'll see him release the ball and then recoil as if he's trying to cover up and avoid a hit that isn't coming.

Like I said, I like him a lot and think he has loads of talent. But in a game where he has a real rush, he tends to unload the ball as quickly as he can, and that's not always a good thing. You're gonna get hit more often than you like when you throw the ball, but he just has to stand in there and step toward his target. If he'll break his habit, he can be very, very good. If not, he's gonna have a really ugly game or two. Just my opinion.
