Based on what I saw during this first week, I don't think there's a place for him this season given that it looks like we're be more of a power running and play action type team.
I was hoping to see him get a few snaps against UO so I can see his ability since he's supposingly the fastest RB we have.

he needs to get a look on 3rd downs at least since Ford can't block or run proper routes and Blue can't catch

It's a long season. Recent history has shown that we will need quality backups on the O-line, at QB, and at RB. Gore may get his chance yet.
Remember '03? JV was 4th string at the beginning of the season.

I'd like to see him here and there. I think he would be a good change of pace...maybe Demps-esque from Florida.

I really want to see him and Magee in the NWSU game once it turns into running every play

I'd rather see Hokie Gajan out there if it means Alfred Blue gets to stay on the bench. That guy can't catch and looks like an 80 year old woman tiptoeing around in the backfield.

Give him a Snickers. It helped Betty White.

Gore is beast. We just have depth. Doesn't means he's not qualified. He will get his opportunity. He redshirted. He still has ample opportunity.

Gore is lost behind some other great backs. Miles didn't mention him when he discussed RBs today. Ware, Ford, Blue and Magee were the only ones he talked about.
