Superdome = Tiger Stadium South
Georgia Dome = Tiger Stadium East
JerryLand = Tiger Stadium Northwest
Not as good as the real thing, but not bad either.

There was an almost unbelievable showing of support by the tiger nation this weekend. I am wondering if LSU won't become a huge favorite to be invited to more of these season kickoff games. I'm sure Dallas made mega bucks on this game. I spoke with the servers at all the resurants and bars we went to. They all agreed that they had never seen the amount of business they saw with LSU. Most said Cowboy games aren't nearly as busy. I would beat 100,000 LSU fans were in Dallas.

100,000 LSU fans easy in Dallas. The Stadium had to have had over 70,000 tiger fans!

No one travels and supports their team like the Tiger Nation! I started to get amazed at the overwhelming LSU following in Dallas, but did not expect anything less. Awesome weekend all the way around!

I wonder if this isn't the beginning of a season opener bowl game explosion. I would think all the big time venues witnessed the incredible success of the Cowboy Classic. Great way to make money for the venue and city. With economies struggling all over the Country, I see this idea catching on.
With LSU's incredible showing the last two years I am wonder where we will be invited next year.

The problem was that Dallas was ill-prepared for the Tigers again. Humperdinks Restaurant was again a huge failure. We purchsed tickets online for the shuttle to the stadium. At noon there was no parking available near that place. We were told that there would be a six(6)hour wait for food. It was already 92 F and the security guy advised people to drink water. Of course they were not giving any water out. We were able to swap the 4 PM shuttle tickets for 1 PM tickets and went to the stadium. The drop off and pick up site was a 15 minute walk. At the pickup location the shuttle busses stopped at the end of the waiting line. People got "middled." Has that ever happened to you? For hotel guests nearby the Whataberger near the DFW had a 45 minute wait for a grilled chicken sandwich at 12:30 AM. I could have sold 300 links of boudain at the gas station next door. I had tickets in hand so I did not have to purchase any that went to Cowboy Ticket holders and then to the brokers or Ebay that fans had to deal with. The 2012 Cotton Bowl is already sold out. The fans of the teams invited will pissed.
On a more positive note, The Embassy Suites is a great place to stay. Complimentary first-class brunch both mornings that was well-manged and adequately staffed that included roasted duckling Sunday AM. Had a safe trip back. I hope that the administration does not give up any more home games for Cowboys Stadium.

Humperdinks seems incapable of providing for more than 200 people...the Baker Street pub was a model of efficiency...had a shuttle, had food out in about 20 minutes....and the place was packed..
Humperdinks=fail

Seemingly the local alumni associations would have touted that place in the literature that they put out.
