I thought he played very well and his receivers have to make plays as well. It's not a one way street. At least 3 or 4 more balls could have been caught if the receivers would have put forth the effort that anyone of the defensive players put out last night.

He ran the offense and looked calm on every play except for the sack.

He didn't hang his head and have that sour arse look that JJ had half the time last year. It may be that the system has been simplified a bit more from last year which is what was needed but it looks like they are very close to being a better than average passing team. He also made some good throws when they were needed most.

Also Jefferson admitted in a article before the brawl happened that he did not like the play calls that were called and didn't want to run them and that he would not do that this year. Do you really want to hear that from the guy that is supposed to be your senior leader, you run what your coach wants to run. Give some input to the coach and call audibles as necessary and as practiced but if you're a leader you don't pout about it.
