They just don't fit. I grew up and now live in Louisville. They have a very small and fairweather fan base. They can't sell out their little stadium, and the worst part is that they now believe their success during the Petrino years was the rule rather than the exception.

This. They call UK fans redneck and hillbilly and a lot of times that's true, but I'll take that over chin strap beards and flat bills. I would say UK fans overall are more educated, although we do have more rednecks as well because we are the bigger fan base.

Basically. Their threads on their Scout board about them coming to the SEC were priceless. They would instantly compete for the SECCG and little old UK would be relegated to 1AA, never mind the fact that they haven't beaten us in 5 years. They seem to forget (or ignore) that fact.
