importance of missing players

5 key players missing:
LSU - Dworzsyzkszsykzsyk, Shep, JJ
UO - Kiko, Cliffy
How do you rank them in order of importance to this game?
My rankings per team are the order they are listed above.
Hard to rank all 5 at once, but I'd say Dworac is 1, Kiko 2, Cliffy, Shep and JJ more or less the same.
Cliff is much better than Kiko, but to win, we have to contain your running game, and that is Kiko, not Cliff.
Hopefully we can do it again in the NCG with both teams at full strength.

I am more concerned with the loss of Shep than Josh D.

1-Cliff
2-Shep
3-Kiko
4-Dworzsyask
5-JJ
Cliff cause he is just flat out talented for us and teams don't throw to his side anymore.
Shep- raw talent once again
Kiko- Lots of potential, but unproven
D-man(Not even trying to spell it) Lots of depth at D-line
JJ- Inconsistent but its a team sport and he's not superman

Tie between Josh D and Kiko, but both have solid backups that can contribute

You left off...Josh Johns? I think that is his name. How much of an impact player was he?
Posted on 9/1/11 at 1:26 am to BlkShpMCDuck
shep does hurt he is a game changer and at a position we are inexperienced at!
Posted on 9/1/11 at 1:27 am to BlkShpMCDuck
Most people didn't even know who he was before the fight. Nothing lost there.

He plays offense, not defense...just sayin'.
And I would say for LSU he's our biggest loss, with Shep second. I would say we're better off not having JJ in there, but if Lee throws pick sixes like he used to, then JJ would be number 1.

Miles and the rest of the team wouldn't talk about OD33 and Landry as much if they weren't really good and ready to play. Boone isn't as quick as Shep but he has better hands and has been a true receiver longer than Shep. Wright's also played well during preseason and the scrimmages, he also has lots of range.

I think because it's the 1st game of the season you have to factor in returning starting experience/talent replacing the players. Josh D would probably be the most significant loss for LSU but the guy replacing him is a senior with tons of experience and a number of starts. Can't say the same for Shep. I don't know enough about Oregon's replacements to make a fair opinion but I do know Cliff Harris is a dynamic player on the defensive side of the ball. One of the best in the country.

Josh Dworaczyk is absolutely LSU's biggest loss.

This.
Depth on the O-line is one of our biggest strengths, but losing him forces us to play a freshman at his position.
Shep has always been streaky at best. He'll play great one game, then disappear for a few.
Of course, a lot of that had to do with JJ, who is the one guy we can afford to lose the most. Let's face it, the 100th ranked QB in the country last year didn't exactly have opposing defenses quaking in fear.

we miss JJ scramble, but IMO we gain more from Lee's arm and i believe a new found confidence.
Dworzyksyks... I watched this guy get handled last year in several games.. i am glad we see a new face there...
Shep... again, i am excited to see the young guys get a chance, they should not let down.

Huh?
The backups are backups for a reason dumbass.

just an opportunity for the next guy in line... competition is a good thing... and there is plenty of talent there to fill the void, thats what competing is all about, dumbass.. this is different than kick ball..douche
