Dallas Happy Hour
Check out this link for Dallas area happy hours. My suggestion if you're staying in Dallas proper is to go to Uptown. Its a cool area with tons of nice bars/restaurants.
Id recommend, the MAT(McKinney Avenue Tavern), Frankies, Primos(great drinks and Tex Mex and scenery), Christies.
Another option is Greenville Avenue(5-10 minutes from downtown). Its a long strip of nothing but restaurants and bars. Dodies is a popular cajun place opened by a LSU grad. I also love Blue Goose, Ozana Bar & Grill(great patio), Snuffers(badass burger and beer), Aw Shucks Oyster Bar.
If you are in Ft Worth id head down to Sundance Square in downtown. Its very nice and lots of stuff to do. Have many bars, (flying saucer, Razzoos, Fox and Hound, etc.).
Sundance Square
Also in Ft Worth there is an area called West 7th district about 5 minutes from downtown with an upper scale TCU feel. Has many good places to grab some drinks and a ton of scenery.
West 7th
Please remember, Dallas/Ft Worth is HUGE and very spread out, so its not like Memphis or NOLA where everyone flocks to the main strip. We have many, they are just in different parts. You wont have to go far to find a good time!
PS: This is my go to website for reviews and recommendations for eating and drinking in Dallas.
