Mike Trout, back in the majors after a rocky first stint, bashed two home runs Tuesday in a 13-6 win against the Mariners. The last two players to hit more home runs at a younger age than Trout, who turned 20 on Aug. 7, were Andruw Jones in 1996 (19) and Ken Griffey Jr. in 1989 (19). The Angels drafted Trout 25th overall in 2009 – four picks after the Astros took shortstop Jiovanni Mier, who is batting .233 at Class A this season. (Kevin Baxter, Los Angeles Times)

Could be a crazy outfield for years to come with Trout and Bourjos, both of whom could be CFs.
Angels got some young talent with Trumbo, Bourjos, Trout, Conger, and Walden. Then you got Aybar (27), Kendrick (28), and Morales (28).

I got to see Trout's first MLB hit in person
That might be something I can tell my grand children 50 years from now if Trout lives up to his potential
Guy is so toolsy and so talented

The Angels actually picked another guy ahead of Trout at number #24, Randal Grichuk,
LINK
I grew up down the street from him, he's a great guy and was a beast in HS. Coming out of that draft, Scoscia came out and talked about how excited the were for Grichuk and Trout to be a twin-tandem type situation.
Unfortunately bc of injury, Trout is way further along in his development. I talked to Randal about him like a year ago, and he said Trout is a MONSTER at the plate.
